While The Quilters Went Shop Hopping!

More Kismet blocks were added to the design wall in the wee small hours of the night!
Kismet came after we had Fish School blocks as our Leader & Ender challenge a few years ago. You’ll still find that one under the Free Patterns tab.
And yes, our NEW 2025 Leader & Ender challenge is coming SOON!
With July right around the corner, I’m happy to see Dawn’s Early Light from String Frenzy happening on this wall! Those little red/white friendship stars were so much fun to make!
Arkansas Crossroads quilt!
I found a free tutorial HERE.
And yes, that runner on the left is made with leftover Indigo Way blocks!
Something seriously cute and bunny-liscious happening here!
Moda Blockhead block play!
In my own studio –
I The ankle is not letting me move back and forth from the retreat house next door much. I’ve been icing and elevating. Doing all of the things, but a girl still has to sew!
Something is brewing and I can’t wait to share it with you. No, it is not the Leader & Enter (Though that is being worked on between the seams too!) and it is NOT the mystery, though that will need to get underway soon. I’m working on drawings right now…I have an idea that needs to expand.
I have next week off because of the holiday weekend upcoming – so more desk time, more machine time, more planning on plotting about colors and themes and all of that exciting stuff.
But this thing…..it’s been on the back burner since last fall, and it stalled out. It was unexciting. It had blank spaces that didn’t connect to anything. It needed a reworking and I’m now so excited about this one that I can’t stop.
Except for this ankle…..
So after 3 blocks I headed home and iced, elevated, napped, elevated some more and finished up my evening with:
Binding, binding and more binding.
And a whole lot of Zoey love.
I love the fact that dogs are sensitive enough to know when something is not quite right, even if it is a hurt ankle.
The cats? They don’t care…even if they know…they don’t care.
Little Lahinch is DONE!
I quilted with a sandy gold colored thread in an edge-to-edge design called Swirling Leaves by Jessica Schick.
I’ll fold it away until October…and then I think it will be perfect for the round front foyer table at the inn.
With all my binding now done….I think it’s back to hexies. Can you see me making a face as I type this?
SO…let’s get on with our next big thing! Drawing the two winners of the Fireweed Gift-Away!
I’ll be drawing for two winners who will each receive a Fireweed PDF pattern from me and a Facets of Red fabric roll from Cotton to Quilts.
I am so excited! We had 3619 entries!
Who is entry 2844?
Deb Mould!
And entry 1143 is:
Rebecca Wilson!
Congrats, ladies!
