What About That Hexie Quilt?

What About That Hexie Quilt?
As of last count there are only 6 large aqua-surrounded motifs left to make, and I save those for my travel trips. The pieces don’t take up much space and are pretty brainless to do while watching movies on a flight, or enjoying the afternoon sunshine after a day’s touring is done and dinner is still a few hours off.
I’ll be working on them on my upcoming Romania trip!  Are you coming with me?
What About That Hexie Quilt?

What About That Hexie Quilt?
Of course, our whole trip isn’t solely about quilting – we will be hitting all of the fabulous spots Romania has to offer. Hubbies, Partners, Adult Children, Siblings, Friends are all welcome. You don’t have to be a quilter to enjoy this trip!

What About That Hexie Quilt?
The Lincoln Quilt Guild ladies are all checked into the inn – the only thing missing is the DISHWASHER!
We found the culprit of the water leaking into the cellar.
It seems that when you have 12 people and 3 meals a day that the dishwasher is running overtime and as we start our 7th season, it needed replacing. It’s just worn out.
Luckily we found one on huge sale at Lowes and it will be installed today. The ladies were so understanding and didn’t mind paper places or some hand washing to take care of their clean up from last night’s meal and I’m hoping by lunch tie we’ll be good to go today.
The cellar is okay – there is a drain in the floor and we’ve got fans running down there. The whole thing is concrete wall and floor…it’s an old cellar, not even a basement really, so all is well.
And though a bit rainy overnight, our weather is improving!
