Those November Quiltvillians!
I feel the need to stitch something super stringy and super scrappy coming on!
I’m so glad that I got to spend time with this wonderful group of ladies!
Travel home safely, everyone!
Dinner out with my guys after arriving in Vancouver, Washington!
The time for all three of us to be together was way too short, but Hubster Dave really needed to get home. He’s been out here for two weeks, through Jason’s surgery and his recovery to this point.
I’m ready for my turn to be mom and chauffer!’
Yesterday we made a trip to Costco where I picked up ingredients as well as some ready-to-heat meals to make things easy.
We’ve got movies and shows to watch, conversations to have, and of course hexies to be stitched.
But first today – getting those stitches out.
We’ve also made plans to visit a museum or two while we are here – it’s rainy and dreary out, but we can walk around inside museums and that’s the best thing that Jason can do right now is to walk.
The thing he is most nervous about right now? Not the removal of the stitches – it’s that MOM will be driving his precious car. As if I haven’t been driving for 45 years. But okay.
And since I haven’t been able to post since Saturday did you know this is still going on?
The folks at Summit St are offering up TWO of the newest I’d Rather Be Sewing boxes in our Gift-Away, AND their newest of fun things for sewists: A My Stitchy Plushy!
Okay, this is the cutest thing.
You’ll find these items as well as all of the Summit St box designs on their website HERE.
We’ll draw for our winners on Saturday 11/8/25.
Okay, time to get a grown man-child up for some breakfast and get ready to head on out.
Have a terrific Tuesday, everyone –
