So many flying geese!
I’m liking what’s coming together here!

Triangles, triangles and more triangles!

All of these are done!  Now on to the alternate block…Maybe next retreat?

I know what’s happening here – Do you?

And it’s never too early (or too late?) to put together a turkey quilt!
I tell you, these talented quilters have been busy and productive and the laughter just does not stop.  Such a fun week to spend with the gals from the B.A.D. Bee!

This also happened in the studio.
I chose a lining fabric for the cushion covers that I really didn’t care about – it’s not going to show anyway – and found batting scraps big enough to lay the cushion cover tops in two rows of four.

I basted them in place and then chose a pantograph to quilt from one to the next to the next – so quick!

Sewing, Snowing & Blowing!
I chose a different design for the bottom four –
Orphan blocks used, scraps and leftover four-patches used, scrap batting used, not-needed juvenile fabric finding a purpose –

Eight cushion cover fronts waiting for their split backings and bindings!

Oh you poor eager daffies!
Little did they know that snow was coming last night. Acccckkk!

Yeah.  She moved in and now owns the place.
It was 14 degrees when I awoke this morning.  I kept Hazel in the studio last night (food, water, comfy bed, litter box and toys. She’ll be fine.) because I know that Flash is not sharing the heated cat house with her.
The van and the Subaru are both parked at the bottom of the drive again as we didn’t know how much snow/ice we’d wake up to this morning.
Tula (in the crate) is going to get a ride down to the cars in the RZR as we get her to the vet to see the surgeon to see if she needs her incision stitched back up again. I think the antibiotics are working. There is not much more drainage…have you ever had to put a warm wet compress against a cat’s face for 5 minutes two times a day?  The things we do for our fur babies!
And I know this post is long, but we’ve got some drawing to do!

Quiltville Quote of the Day –

I’m not sure what that wonderful thing might be, but as I sit here with snow flurries blowing, perhaps it has something to do with those daffodils that are still trying to pop up in my yard?
We’ll be back in the 40s by Wednesday.  I’m keeping my sights on that!
Have a marvelous Monday, everyone –
