My favorite is the mug – be sure to choose the 15 oz size! I like my mugs big, and I can not lie.
I’ve talked before about what Forest Jane does with all of the profits from the sale of Quiltville items from the Zazzle store. You can read more about it here.
The funds are used to purchase needed supplies for the free sewing, knitting, crocheting workshops that Forest Jane gives to those in need through her local library. It’s a giving back thing! It’s a pay it forward thing. And we appreciate your purchases so much as they allow her to continue offering the supplies that folks may not be able to afford otherwise.
Play around with all of the items you can add our logos to. It’s fun. And you’ll find something that you really like.
And a big thank you for all who have purchased to help keep the teaching and sharing and caring moving forward.
We are ready!
It was such a nice day yesterday that I once again opened all of the windows to let fresh air in. I also set up a couple of fans to continue to move the air around and let the fumes OUT.
It’s nearly back to normal – minus chair mats which we can’t put down until March.
You can see where I placed a floor fan in front of the big bay windows to encourage that fresh air to come in and do its thing to help ease the smell.
Valentine’s decor is up!
This cute heart swag was knitted by friend Martha. It’s so cute hanging over the dining room French doors.
Kitchen and bathroom rugs were washed and hung over the porch rail to dry in the sun. What a marvelous feeling!
The rest of my day was spent at my desk getting that pattern writing moving along. Not done yet, but getting there. I have a few days left to go. But it will get done.
Last evening we drove down to Elkin for a belated birthday dinner as I missed Jeff’s birthday as well as my own while in New Zealand. Our birthdays are 2 days apart – and dinner out is a thing we do and I always look forward to celebrating with him.
Housekeeper Susan will arrive this morning to start working her magic on the rest of the house. Friend Martha will swing by to help make beds and we’ll be well on the way to having things ready for tomorrow’s February Quiltvillians arrival.
Thanks so much also – to those who sent encouraging words on how to deal with a newly retired spouse while I am in no way retired – in fact – ramping up.
It’s a different dance but we’ll figure it out! I’m excited for this time in our lives together.
Quiltville Quote of the Day –
This says so much –
Off to build my inner world – have a terrific Tuesday, everyone!
