Be watching for Waterford to release on Monday, March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day!

Did you know? We may associate Ireland with the color green, but blue is the official color of Ireland in heraldic terms, and blue is the color of the coat of arms of the Republic of Ireland.

Blue is also associated with St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint. That even makes releasing Waterford on St. Patrick’s Day even more perfect especially since this quilt design was inspired by a tile floor I saw while in Ireland.

So this is where my yesterday was spent, and I’ll be there again today so it is iffy at best if any sewing will happen.

Even on days like yesterday though, it’s safe to assume that by evening time there was a hoop in my lap and I was putting in more hand quilting stitches.

I’ve even been prepping my busy bag with what I need to take with me for Dave’s surgery on Friday. Hexies, audiobook, earbuds, extra phone battery pack, gum, water bottle…all I need is a comfy chair with halfway decent lighting.

Also today – prepping towel baskets for the incoming Richmond Express group who will be checking in at Quiltville Inn on Wednesday afternoon.

Time to make all the things shine!
