Fantastically Fun!

I’ve got today and tomorrow to finish up as much desk work as I can before the Muddy Creek Misfits arrive tomorrow afternoon.

My best moment of yesterday? Jeff finished mowing the lawn and doing some other things on his to-do list and I stole him off to Galax where we ran a couple of errands and went to the Chinese Buffet for lunch. Sometimes it’s just nice to have the company of my grown man-son while doing normal things like stocking up on hand soap and make up remover wipes for the retreat.

I couldn’t do this without the help of my family. They constantly show their love by doing things like this.

A friend told me once that “roses” come in all shapes and forms. Not just as flowers.

Your family might not be bringing you actual flowers all the time, but look for the little things. The little things they do for you without being asked or expected – those are flowers.

I am presented with flowers by these men in my life every day – even if they don’t look like flowers.
