Little rows of scrappy possibilities make me so excited!
I know what this is, do you?
And that means daffodils are getting closer, too. In fact, I saw some little shoots sprouting up in the side yard at the inn! Spring eventually DOES come.
And so does mammogram time.
I had an afternoon appointment for my yearly mammogram. It’s actually been delayed a couple of months due to travel, change of insurance, and weather. But I got in. And this was the display in the Mammography suite waiting room.
It gave me a good chuckle. Someone put a lot of work into this display to celebrate healthy boobs.
Have you had your mammo lately?
Evening time attempting to stitch down some more of the String Rings binding.
Ivy between my knees, not allowing me to turn that next corner.
But check out her kitty beans. SO CUTE!
With getting the inn ready to switch groups, and throwing in mammo appointments the only time I really had to sew yesterday was evening binding time, and I’m okay with that.
I have some more small projects to work on for the retreat, and I’ll share those tomorrow.
Today will be another run around day as Tula has to go back to the vet – she is leaking from her incision and I think she’s got an infection in her eye socket so off we go again. There is some oozing. It’s gross. So I called yesterday morning and they said they could work me in at 2:30pm today.
I’ll come home, get Tula, drive the hour to the vet, do the waiting room thing, the exam room thing, see what she needs (an antibiotic shot I bet) and then an hour drive home –
All well wishes are welcome please. I’m not sure how many of her 9 lives we’ve worked through up to this point.
